Allison has been working with Melissa and the children at SUMC for 5 years. She is also a Research Scientist at a global flavor company. Allison is married to Steven and they have two children. Her favorite church activities are the church picnics (where Steven smokes lots of meat), packing Christmas boxes, the Chili cookoff and PIE DAY!!! Melissa has been the co-director of Children’s Ministry with Allison for the last five years. She is married to Steve, and together they have two girls, a teenager and a pre-teen! Before children, Melissa was a practicing lawyer in an insurance defense firm, with a baking business on the side. Melissa loves all of the amazing volunteer opportunities at SUMC -especially anything where she can bake for others! She also has a deep affinity for anything Disney, the theater, and her sweet pug Obi -who often makes cameos in the Children’s Moment videos.
